Working with Birth Chart Data
Understand birth chart response data and how to work with planetary results effectively.

Start with complete birth inputs
Use the documented date, time, latitude, longitude and timezone fields. Location labels are descriptive; geographical coordinates and the timezone values used by the calculation must match your intended birth profile.
Separate the calculation categories
Birth Astro Details returns birth-related attributes, Planets supplies planetary positions, and Houses and Bhava endpoints provide house information. Select the endpoints your visualization actually needs.
Normalize before rendering
Keep numeric degrees, signs and labels in an application data model. Preserve the original response fields for debugging, and derive presentation labels in your UI instead of changing the underlying calculation values.
Validate chart-specific output
Divisional charts use a selected chart ID in the route. Compare the returned chart data with the matching documented endpoint example before using it in a chart component.
